Blatant self-promotion
I'm running a movie meme contest on my LiveJournal. If you can name three or more of the movies from the quotes posted here, I'll write you in as a character to my new story Wait for the Light. Stop on over to participate, if you like, and make sure that if you DON'T have an LJ user name that you let me know who you are so I can get your name right.

That was harder than I thought it would be. Still, I think I got about 5 right. This was fun, we should do something like this here for some type of cool prize or something.
You're gonna be in, man, 'cos you're giving it a good try, but one you missed is older than you think. Based on Kipling, it is. Another is just as presidentially political but in a very different way.
Probably too obscure to be helpful clues, but there you go.

Yeesh, I thought you guys LIKED movies...
I do like movies...but evidently I don't like the same movies you like. Or at least I don't remember any lines from them (although Tombstone is my favorite western movie)
