Got my bound comics back!

Wow, they look super!

I got 12 books done total and couldn't be happier with the results. Needless to say I've got a lot of reading to do!

I sent these to a company in Texas named Library Binding Company...each cost a whopping $15! Of course, it took me awhile to create each cover...mostly out of art that I've inked, pencilled or commissioned. Very personalized.

Wow! That looks really cool. And you made your own cover!?! All for fifteen bucks? That's what I call a custom hardcover. How many issues can they bind at once?

It's all about spine thickness! The biggest one I did was Justice league (included issues 1-25 and two annuals)and it came in at 1 7/8" spine. It's easy to read with no gutter loss, so my next round I'm gonna try one a little bigger. I actually did think I was going to find that it was too big and unwieldy, but I think I could have put another 10 issues in, no problem. But, at $15 a pop I want to make them easier to read and not be a cheapo.

Those are v e r y cool. Maybe I should do this with my Byrne FF run. Cheaper than a Visionaries trade.
