I realized my mistake right after I did it and I've let it go in the time since. It's only now finally coming back. I may keep doing the bearded look for a while -- I don't have any reason not to. I still skip deodorant when I can, but only when I'm not going to be around anyone I know, which is fairly rare these days. I might look into that no-chemical deodorant, but I've heard those don't often work well (though better than not wearing any at all, you'll say).

Then again, I'll grow a beard and not wear deodorant. I'm probably going Howard Hughes on you. That smell has always been me. Hallelujah, I'm a bum.

I still love PSB, and Super is great. That it was at the bottom of that list doesn't mean it wasn't a commendable effort. There were a lot of albums considered for that list. That it was on there at all should be saying something. I didn't listen to just 10 albums that year and that one was the worst of the lot. It was 10th out of a lot of albums for the year. I might grow to like that album even more later on, and get what you got out of it, that's just where I placed it at that moment.

Oatmeal with water has always seemed more gross to me. I reckon I just grew up with oatmeal made with milk. And I sure like fruit in oatmeal but more often I'm pulled toward brown sugar, which isn't as good (for me) (but tastes great!).

How is my #1 Radiohead song not a surprise? That I would pick an obscure B-side or have I already told you that one? And "How to Disappear Completely" doesn't grab me (though I just heard it earlier tonight). Probably more anything else on that album.Marlan Harrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10156960102482485529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9125820277203006206.post-44130258099215087572018-01-12T11:00:20.404-08:002018-01-12T11:00:20.404-08:00That Agent of Hydra book sounds like a fun read. What I like is sprinkling frozen fruit on a piping hot bowl. Blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. The frozen fruit unthaws quickly and helps to cool off the hot oatmeal. Tastes great!

No deodorant now? You're not going all Howard Hughes on us, are you?Zarkohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15888768080325153297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9125820277203006206.post-59834635636970374692017-06-06T21:55:04.853-07:002017-06-06T21:55:04.853-07:00DUDE, you can't grow a scraggily (or however y...DUDE, you can't grow a scraggily (or however you want to describe it) beard and give up on deodorant at the same time... that sounds like... A BUM. What, you're gonna 'walk the earth' next? DEODORANT, MAN... it's a good thing, trust me.

***

I loved that Hydra comic too. What a fun concept.

***

Not surprised by your # 1 Radiohead song... but no "How to Disappear Completely"?

***

Dude, what's that smell?Sethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02981552389399152818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9125820277203006206.post-27288583675827512592017-04-03T15:49:10.660-07:002017-04-03T15:49:10.660-07:00No deodorant, really? Since high school (meaning ...No deodorant, really? Since high school (meaning a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away) I have not been using deodorants with chemicals in them. There are now a ton out there without having to use Rock Crystal, which never really worked and is just weird rubbing a rock on your pits. Try Urban Cowboy, it's awesome, works, and without the nasty aluminum.

Pet Shop Boys Super is seriously the album of the year. The live concert was flat out amazing, too. I can't believe it's at the bottom of your list. Although Pop Kids really rings true to me since I was in London in the 90s with my friend and going to the clubs. That whole album just proves why they were amazing in the 80s and still have a ton of talent and are contemporary for right now.Zaranoreply@blogger.com
